To achieve high productivity and reproducible results, it is essential to correctly align these welds and use appropriate gripping solutions. ■Welding Joint Testing of Prism Cells The welding joints of prism cells are predominantly located between the cathode/anode tabs and each collector, as well as inside the busbar or the can itself. Breakage can occur at all locations, and consistency and durability need to be verified. ■Welding Joint Testing of Pouch Cells Pouch cells have the anode or cathode tabs welded together, with each tab welded to the cell terminals.
